Inspiration from YW Broadcast

I was going to go to the Stake center with Kirsten. At the last minute, she was invited to go the Conference Center with a friend (they had one extra ticket). I almost said no because I really wanted to be with her, but knew the opportunity to be in the Conference Center was a great one, so she went and ended up sitting front and center, only yards away from the speakers, President Monson included. It was a remarkably powerful meeting, and I'm so glad Kirsten was there! President Monson's message was powerful and prophetic; he spoke in no uncertain terms of the reality of Satan and the young women will need to demonstrate COURAGE in order to win the fight. Sister Dalton quoted Winston Churchill as saying the following:

"To every Young Woman there comes a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered a choice to do a very special thing unique to them. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour." Sister Dalton added: This is a critical time. You are being tapped on the shoulder. You are preparing now for that work which will be your finest hour. You are preparing for eternity.

I felt ispired and encouraged by the meeting. It renewed and recharged my spirit. There are so many applications of the counsel in my life, especially as it pertains to motherhood. I'm grateful for the opportunities I have to be uplifted and feel the Spirit. That's what keeps me going!
