In the Past Two Weeks:
Attended Two Going Away Get-Togethers, one with the Angerbauer Clan, one hosted by the Ferres for friends & neighbors.
Two Dozen Friends, and then Two Dozen More, brought us food, helped us clean the house, watch our kids, pack, and load the truck.
Two Teenagers expressed their Extreme Reluctance & Displeasure with this move. They would rather, like, die Two Ga-Zillion deaths than be separated from their Two Fillion Utah Friends. Because they’ll never ever make any friends in Texas. Two, maybe.
Two Million Tears were shed during the Two Day Drive to Texas.
Two Exederin – taken every Two Hours (wait, was that supposed to be six hours? no wonder it worked so well . . .) - helped me cope with the all those tears and all those miles.
Two Sightings Once we crossed over the Texas border: “Jesus Loves Texas” painted on the side of a barn, and a souped-up brand-new pick-up truck with HUGE tires and the actual LONGHORNS (from an actual Longhorn) mounted as the hood ornament. No lie.
Two Homes were Rented – our home in Utah to a family from Oregon, and a great home in Highland Village, TX, to us.
Two Kind Grandparents let us camp out at their house and disrupt their otherwise calm, quiet lifestyle while we waited – with varying degrees of patience - for our belongings.
Two Dozen Ultra-Kind People helped us clean our house & then unload our belongings in the extreme heat, drinking at least Two Quarts of Water each. They each deserve Two Dozen Cookies, which I will make once I can get my act together and find the measuring cups.
Two visits to Rapid Med Urgent Care: Rob for a camp physical, & Seth for a raging ear infection.
Two Times Two (plus One) Camps attended: Kirsten to Marcus High School Basketball Camp, Girls Camp, & now Trek to Martin’s Cove (yes, this involved an airline ticket back to Utah – don’t even get me started on the new Unaccompanied Minor Fees), Rob to Slippery Falls Scout Camp, & Seth to Cub Scout Day Camp.
Two ways to stay cool during a Texas summer: In an air-conditioned building or in a pool. We’ve already been through Two Bottles of Sunscreen.
Two Nights Out with Old Friends and Two Dozen Errands wherein I didn’t get lost once helped me realize how nice it will be to be back in the area where we made Two Trillion Happy Memories while we lived here for Two (Times Five) Years.
Two Phone Calls to friends in Utah made me realize how much I miss everyone there and that I’m not ready to make “How’s it going?” phone calls yet because I would simply bawl my Two Eyes out. We lived there for Two Years and made at least Two Million Happy Memories.
I’m not sure when I’ll be ready to make those phone calls.
Give me at least Two More Weeks.

Two things:
1- welcome back to Texas!
2- I think that truck you saw might be my neighbors - no joke, they have a truck like that.
Welcome home Angerbauer Family. Welcome home.
Moving stinks. Blah... But I know of 8 people who are really happy that you're here!
Very cute and clever! I'm so glad you posted. I'm missing you and your family.
It's been difficult to even get myself to open your blog, I miss all that estrogen from the Angerbauer family. Lucky Texas.
