Tallgrass by Sandra DallasMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
This book is the story of what happens within a small Colorado farming community when a Japanese American "camp" is set up right outside of their town during WWII. It offers drama, mystery, & fascinating historical facts. It explores deeply-held prejudices, patriotism, and tragedies of war.
An interesting read that I recommend with the exception that I'm not a fan of Sandra Dallas' writing style, which can get overly-descriptive at times.
