I Feel Bad About My Neck: And Other Thoughts on Being a Woman by Nora EphronMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I picked up this book on the recommendation of my sister-in-law & threw it on my bag to read on vacation.
'I Feel Bad About My Neck' will not change your life, your views on religion, philosophy, child-rearing or anything that really truly matters in life (which is the only reason I decided not to give it 5 stars).
This book will, however, make you laugh. Out loud. Repeatedly. Especially if you are, say, late thirties or past. Younger women might not appreciate it quite yet...
Nora Ephron is brilliant and hilarious. My dream is that one day I may write half as well as she does.
Here's my suggestion: buy this book, throw it in your purse -- incidentally, one whole chapter in this book is devoted to what's in our purses -- and pull it out when you need a good belly laugh.
It won't let you down.

I listened to the book on tape -- I think Nora Ephron read it aloud herself. I think maybe a professional reader would have been more enjoyable! Funny words, not such a great voice.
