We went to San Diego over Easter Break (our Spring Break - only an extended weekend!) primarily to visit Grandma & Grandpa Layer. Unfortunately, Grandpa was in the hospital with 4 broken ribs, so the kids weren't able to see him, but we spent time with our cousins the Goates and had a great time at the beach and an aircraft carrier the USS Midway. We had never toured the Midway before, and I HIGHLY recommend it if you find yourselves in San Diego. They let you have almost full run of the ship - it's fascinating! Well worth a couple hours of your day! Jeff & I also did a session in the San Diego Temple, which is always fabulous for us since we were married there! We loved the getaway and can't wait to see Grandpa Layer next time we visit!

Great pictures! What a fun time you had! Do you ever wish you could have that jail in your own home for when they drive you bonkers? I do. :-)
So fun to catch up on your sweet and growing-up-so-fast family! I think it's about time for a lunch date before we all get out of school. What do you think?
